They ask you how you want your burger cooked, but the ground beef patties come straight out of the freezer frozen. The problem with this is that how they cook these frozen patties is a health code violation. When asked how I wanted my burger, I said medium rare/saignante. The burger I received was still frozen in the center. I am not against cooking frozen patties; we eat at McDonald's once every few years. The problem here is that: 1) pinte de Sauvabelin is a restaurant, and for restaurant quality, they should be using fresh Swiss beef; 2) the cook/server should not be asking the customer how their frozen beef patty should be cooked... it must be cooked well done to at least 70C in the center in order to avoid e.coli and salmonella transmission. Mine was clearly still frozen in the center. If I were the Swiss restaurant authorities, I would be looking into this establishment. I however do give this restaurant two stars because when I pointed out that my burger was still cold and frozen in the center, the server promptly replaced it with one more cooked and warm in the center. My dinner mates said that their fondue was satisfactory for the price. I would also still recommend this place for beers, drinks, ice creams, etc. I just wouldn't be ordering any type of meat from this place as I have doubts to...

Edit: 10juillet 2018, toujours aussi sympathique et une excellente cuisine. Un bon moment à partager avec ses amis ou famille. Petit bémol sur un point sur le menu Steack 200gr il manque des legumes, autant sur d'autre plat la quantité est satisfaisante autant sur ce menu il manque un peut de matière. J'aime énormément la salade mêlée a 8 frs ou a 12 en version grande avec encore plus de variété, avec prennez des frites ou des potatos à mettre dedans encore chaud. Les désert sont aussi bon. Je trouve le tablier rouge qui est commun à tous du plus belle effet. Serveur et serveuse sympathique.

Bonne ambiance sur la terrasse qui a beaucoup de place et des parasols nombreux. Je préfère quand à moi les tables extérieur situé sur le côté du bâtiment plus frais. Je recommande si c'est pour manger au heure de grande affluence de réserver par téléphone.

Edit : 22nov2017. Serveuse et serveur sympa, bien habillé (e), j'ai manger deux fois. Et pour les deux fois j'ai été surpris par la taille des menu. Pour un prix (correct) (un peut cher sur les part de tarte, mais bonne) on mange bien. Il y a des menu enfant qui son aussi très bien servis. Cuisine non stop. Et la salade mêlée 12frs (grand taille) avec salade mêlée, maïs, carotte rouge, radi, tomate, pain, et une autre crudités donc je ne connais pas le nom.

Le volume vous cale bien avec juste ça et un renversé à 3.7frs. donc pour 15.70frs vous manger un menu végétarien et bon.

Endroit vraiment excellent. Nouvelle terrasse sur le lac de sauvabelin complètement réaménager. (Encore en travaux (aout 2017)) belle place de jeux pour les enfant et les parents. (Jeux d'équilibre, d'escalade, toboggan, et bac à sable avec fontaine à eau manuel) beaucoup de banc. Promenade possible jusqu'au bord de l'eau. Quelque animaux à voir. (Chèvre, mouton, lapin, poule, vache, cochon, plus poisson du lac (plutôt rare pour le moment.) Canard et peut être des oies (l'année dernière 2016)

Pour le restaurant je n'ai pas encore été mais pour la pinte. Petit choix de glace et boisson avec petit choix de petit restauration. Portion de frite à 5frs (plutôt généreuse.) Et pour 9.5 vous avez de super coupe de glace(voir photo) et pour 9.5 vous avez une super assiette (avec 2 meringue, une boule de glace au choix, des biscuit , et de la double crème de gruyère voir photo) vraiment délicieux. Serveuse plutôt aimable et jolie. Un chouette moment à passer en famille ou entre compagnon et ami. À faire une fois au moins. Ouvert...
