Food ok, service wait too long and ambience average.
The fork had a 50% off, not knowing what to expect, but had good google reviews so we went for it…. Not coming back.
Diner for 2 people (couple), we like Ethiopian food and wanted to look for a new place to eat, so 50% was appealing.
Arrived to the place and our table wasn’t really ready, so after a couple minutes the waitress came and sit us on an empty free table.
Ambience was somehow not fitting the type of restaurant, music, decoration and so felt out of place.
Menu was small, 8-9 dishes, which is usually a good sign; and so, we went for the degustation menu.
Ordered 2 beers, which took more then 10 minutes to arrive and we immediately order to avoid more waiting time… well, can’t say it changed anything.
Almost 45 minutes after we ordered, finally food arrived. And yes food was tasty but…
Portion was small, finished my half of the dish quite fast and shared the other half with my wife, by the end of the diner we both agreed we were not going to wait another 45 minutes for something else.
Price of the degustation dish per person was 39.- fr, with the 50% off discount we ended up paying a total bill of 70 fr.-, for that price portion was ok… but in no way I would pay 78.- fr + 30.- fr for drinks for that.
Overall, expiren was poor and google rate is not realistic. Not...
Read moreIncredible meal. As an Ethiopian, I’ve had plenty in different places. Lucy’s is excellent. We decided to stop by on our day trip from Genève and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Just a short bus ride from the city center, it’s definitely worth a visit. Can’t...
