Trattoria zum alten Landgericht — Restaurant in Lenzburg

Authentic and excellent Italian restaurant in a historically relevant building. You will feel as part of the family when they greet you with a warm-hearted Buona Sera. The warm and attentive service continues when being offered an aperitif and a variety of bread and breadsticks as a complement. Beside a great variety of items offered in their menu, they feature daily specials of whatever seasonal delivery they have received recently. The food is excellently prepared and presented with much attention to the details. The portions are well balanced, enough to having had enough but so that after the last bite, you will long for the next evening at the Trattoria.

If he is around, the energetic patron visits every table to exchange a few kind words with the guests, adding another much appreciated aspect of Italian hospitality - pride in satisfied and well-fed guests.

The prices seem to be above average at first sight, but prove to be fair if you consider the complete package.

Although not advertised, the Trattoria offers Pizzas and Foccacias to go. A treat...

Bravissimo!!! Un grande applauso! A lovely-looking restaurant in a lovely-looking town. The waiter was a born-and-raised Italian, and he spiced up our dinner the way only Italians know how.

You can always tell a restaurant is excellent when the pasta dishes come down to just two ingredients: pasta and sauce. The gnocchi gorgonzola were perfectly cooked—al punto—and the sauce was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, which is impressive considering cheese is the star of the show.

But my biggest surprise? The passionfruit tiramisu. I love a good tiramisu—the classic version is probably my favorite dessert. But here, in this place, at this time, after a couple (okay, maybe three) glasses of wine (and a Campari) I felt bold and ordered the passionfruit one. We have to take risks in life, right? Well, this was one risk I’m very glad I took. Because mamma mia, that tiramisu!!!

Grosses Contra, eigentlich würde ich dafür sogar 1 oder 2 Sterne geben, aber ich möchte mich zuerst nochmals davon überzeugen, ob es nicht evtl. an Corona lag....

Nüsslisalat mit Speck und Ei ohne Speck?! Ernsthaft? Das gekochte Ei war teilweise grün und defintiv nicht das frischeste. Sah aus wie ein fertig gekochtes Ei das zu lange aufbewahrt wurde. Auf jeden fall nicht wirklich appetitlich zum ansehen, aber....Essbar. die Portion war dazu noch so klein dass der Salat nach knapp 3-4 Bissen weg war. Wirklich schade, da die Sauce verdammt lecker war. Allerdings macht es das nicht wieder wett.

Ich hatte das Kalbsschnitzel mit Hausgemachten Teigwaren an Zitronensauce. alles davon war wirklich lecker, nur wurde ich nicht ansatzweise Satt davon und hätte locker 4 Portionen essen können. Und das als eher untergewichtiger Normalesser.

-Die Preise....3 Personen knapp 200.- ein Milchshake 3 Mineral Getränke und 1 winziger Salat....

Wie gesagt, eigentlich ein absoultes NOGO, für diesen Preis muss man satt werden! Meine 2 älteren Begleiter hatten die Riesencrevetten und keine Vorspeise. Waren auch gut damit bedient. Geschmacklich sei es auch gut gewesen.

Ich weis nicht warum meine Portionen dermassen klein waren, ob man mich für ein Bärtiges 180cm grosses Kind gehalten hat oder waren die Nudeln schlichtweg aus? die 2 kleinen Plätzli stillten den Hunger leider auch kaum und waren nach 3 Bissen weg. schätzungsweise 50-100g Fleisch? 0.5cm hoch und je 5cm Breit & ca. 7-10cm Lang.

Der Milchshake war ok, satt wurde ich auch mit dem leider nicht.

Ein besuch beim Drive in 30min Später schaffte dann das Völlegefühl. war wirklich enttäuscht von diesem Besuch und hoffe nächstes mal ist es nicht so.

Wirklich schade, aber ich möchte zu einem Späteren Zeitpunkt mich nochmals davon überzeugen ob es immer so ist, oder Corona bedingt die Portionen kleiner waren und die Preise höher?

Die Preise wären meiner Meinung nach auch angemessen sofern die Portionen grösser wären.

Sorry für die eher Negative Rezession, ich hoffe beim nächsten Besuch kann ich sie ins Positive ändern.
