Tacuba Kaffeerösterei — Restaurant in Lucerne

One of those places which gives off a friendly and cosy vibe for the coffee goers in the morning - with many actually buying coffee beans back home after drinking it!

We ordered 3 drinks in total, the hot chocolate, no acini and cappuccino.

🍫 the hot chocolate was similar to the rest of Lucerne, very light on chocolate note and very heavy on milk - which we didn’t like

Mocha was okay, very light coffee tone and not much chocolate notes to it

Cappuccino was out third drink after witnessing people going at their packed coffee beans and grounded beans - but was similarly of a lighter tone without too much fragrance.

Would imagine the espresso and Americano would be the better option here for those looking to actually taste their coffee in entirety 🫘

Went for a "quick fuel-up" in the morning & think i found a new place to go for reeeeeally good coffee in Lucerne! Beans are roasted on site & brewed on an absolute beauty of a machine from Victoria Arduino. The results are a tasteful, fruity espresso. What a way to start my day!

If i could make a suggestion: maybe add small pieces of whatever sweet to complement the coffee, i saw huge pieces of yummy cake, maybe 1/3 of the size for a few bucks extra. Or...

Tacuba Café is a cosy place and has a warm atmosphere. The most important point about this cafe is that they roast the coffee beans themselves (and they also sell the roasted coffee beans there) and accordingly the coffee which is used is very fresh and tastes like heaven! The barista and I think the owner is a latin guy, who is also very kind and friendly. we ordered three iced latte macchiatos with extra chocolate with two pieces of vegan chocolate banana cake, they were all delicious 😋 . They also have a backyard, so you can get your coffee and sit there and enjoy the weather...
