🌟 A Flavorful Ethiopian Feast to Remember! 🌟

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying this incredible Ethiopian platter, and it was a total culinary adventure! Served traditionally on injera, the spongy sourdough flatbread that acts as both plate and utensil, the dish offered a vibrant variety of rich stews, perfectly spiced meats, and hearty vegetables.

The doro wat (chicken stew with hard-boiled egg) was a standout — deeply flavorful, tender, and soaked in that signature berbere spice. The beef tibs were perfectly sautéed with onions and peppers, adding a great texture and slight crunch to the mix. The accompanying rice and sautéed veggies offered a nice balance and contrast to the bolder flavors, and the freshness of the side salads added a refreshing bite.

Everything was served family-style, creating a warm and communal dining experience. The injera soaked up the sauces beautifully, and it was fun to tear off pieces and scoop up the different dishes.

We specifically tried "the house" dish and absolutely loved it, but the standout for us was definitely the KITFO – it was incredibly delicious and truly brought back authentic Ethiopian flavors. The atmosphere has a few points to note. If you plan to sit outside, be aware of some train noise, which can be a bit distracting. Inside, the music is a little loud, but it's not overly bothersome and adds to the lively vibe. The pricing is very fair, especially considering the generous amount and quality of food you receive. Never had Eritrean food. I liked the beef spicy plate (don't remember the name but it's the second one down in the English menu) a lot! If you like spicy, and you like beef, this is for you.
