Indian Restaurant Luzern — Restaurant in Lucerne

Pathetic Indian food!! Please avoid eating here if you want good Indian food taste. We ordered samosa and the most recommended paneer tikka masala and 2 garlic naans.

First, the samosa does not even look like samosa nor the taste. They were very blend and lacked the total samosa taste so don’t even bother ordering this. You can check the picture I uploaded for the samosa.

Secondly, the paneer tikka masala just tastes like kofta. When we ordered it, the person taking the order said it will be ready in 3 mins, I wondered at first that how will it be ready in 3 mins but then later after tasting it, I can see. So basically the same curry base is used for all curries and just last minute changes/additions are made according to the curry you order. The paneer pieces did not even blend properly with the gravy. They were just thrown and may be sautéd for 2 mins that’s it. It was far far from even getting close to the taste of paneer tikka masala. So don’t order it at all!!

Naans yes were soft but garlic taste was very less. Only gave 1 star for the soft naans else nothing was good from what we ordered. They give mango pickle which was the only good thing!

Overall, very very disappointed with the food here. Please try some other Indian restaurant in luzern...

This is our second day in a row visiting this restaurant. Mr. Dharmendra and his team provided an excellent service and amazing food. Dal makhani was purely authentic and you can taste the makhkhan ( buttery) flavor that holds the dish true to its name. I would definitely recommend trying dal makhani. Freshly baked Naan were very crispy and were great size (as compared to what you find in other places ). Restaurant offers a limited selection of menu and every dish tastes great!! And there’s tea ( Indian style) too !!!

Neighboring pizza shop is owned by the same owner. Falafel and veg wraps we ordered from there and were very delicious and filling. So if you looking for a change, give it a try too.

The whole team including Mr. Dharmendra is very warm and welcoming which makes you happy and think about visiting the place again and again. This is a busy restaurant that may lead to some wait time which is obvious but the wait at the end will not go in vain (once the food arrives).
