In Luzern and want to have some Indian food? You definitely need to come to this restaurant for some great Punjabi cooking by Punjabi chefs! This is a simple, laidback restaurant with warm service and good North Indian food. We loved everything. The freshly made nimbu pani (sweet and salty lemon soda) was incredibly refreshing and I highly recommend it, it is honestly the best I have had in Europe+UK! The butter-laden garlic naan was fabulous, Dal Makhani and Butter chicken were equally delicious, and the paneer was wonderfully soft. The flavour of the curries was not typical restaurant-style, felt more homely, which was a welcome change. The spice and salt levels were perfect throughout. Our mains were also accompanied with some sliced onions, green chilli oil (which went wonderfully with the onions) and a proper, Punjabi mango pickle (homemade of course, and as good as it gets!). The prices were a little steep but we didn’t mind too much because we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

I went with my family to luzern and wanted to have Indian Food so desparately and that's when we found this best Indian restaurant. With entering restaurant, owner welcomed us with big smile. We had ordered sabji, roti and veg biryani. Food is very delicious and tasty. Was surprised to see that they serve mango pickle and green chilli chutney too which is just so awesome prepared by owner's wife. And we kept asking for more and more achar, chutney and pyaz sprinkled with masala. You would hardly get such Indian touch in food anywhere else in Luzern. Everything was perfect- food, cleanliness, ambience. Owner always has this smile on his face while talking to people and makes sure everything is perfect and well served. My whole family enjoyed the time and lunch there. Definitely best Indian restaurant in the area and would recommend it for people looking for best quality, quantity and taste.

It was perfect. The service was faster than at any other restaurant I've ever been to before. We came with five people, without reservation, on a thursday night. The man who works here helped us find a good parking spot. We got chicken pakosa as entrees, which were smaller than we expected but tasty nonetheless. We had chicken biryani, lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, and lamb corma. The chicken vindaloo was delicious in medium spice. The portions were very nice and big. We all tried each others foods and enjoyed ourselves very much. All in all: perfect. Definitely recommend.

If you are an Indian food lover, you should definitely go Indian Luzern restaurant. We loved the food we actually came the second time (just before we were about to leave Switzerland), the restaurant is not fancy looking, and uses some of the authentic plates to serve the food. Prices are most likely fair to Switzerland - around 27-30 CHF for chicken dishes. The owner is very kind and welcoming. No need to reserve a table. Bottom line very recommended. P.S. sorry for missing some pictures... you'll need to trust me (and the kids) who loved the food.

Great hidden place in Luzern. Good selection of menu items and covers most of the popular dishes. Superior customer service and they made sure that all your dining needs are met. Great attention to detail with service. Staff really put in effort to make sure you get the best dining experience. Don't be fooled with the ambience. It's simple but practical and effective. If you have a need for Indian food in Switzerland, don't forget to visit this restaurant.

We came here because of the reviews. The chicken is very moist and tender, the garlic naan is one of the best i’ve had. I regret taking the curry medium spicy because they werent spicy enough for us, but they offered some spicy sauce on the side and that made the dish great! Portions are big, we had some leftover to take home as well! They offer pickeled mangos as a free appetizer. The service is lovely, they are very kind and helpful. Recommend it!
