La Nonna — Restaurant in Martigny

Excellent service like you would expect it from a restaurant in the Valais. We went to eat pizza on a Stunday around lunchtime without a reservation and even though la Nonna was very busy we got a table for two immediately and our orders were taken promptly. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive after that either and we got a mild and delicious cognac appetiser on the house, despite just ordering water and one pizza per person. All personnel was very friendly, even though they were in a bit of a rush due to the amount of costumers.

A cut above the other Italian restaurants in Martigny. The menu has a good mix of classics and creations. Especially the seasonal menu was full of interesting twists on the usual Italian fare.

The waiters were especially welcoming and attentive. Orders were taken promptly, and the food and bill arrived quickly. From outside you'd never tell, but the restaurant is huge inside, so there's probably always a good chance of getting a table without a reservation.

Ci siamo imbattuti quasi x caso mio marito ed io con alcuni amici in questo ristorante in Svizzera. Siamo stati accolti con garbo e gentilezza e ...sorpresa è un ristorante italiano. Una location dai colori caldi e dal profumo del legno un arredo direi essenziale che prevede molti tavoli ma che lascia spazio alla discrezione e alla comodità. Uno staff cortese ed efficiente, ci ha accolto e consigliato sui vini e il resto. Dunque cucina italiana e già questo è sinonomo di gusto e qualità... e poi la loro specialità ... piatti a base di pasta rigorosamente fresca. E qui ci siamo "rovinati"😀 avendo ordinato più primi poiché tutti invitanti. Siamo tornati 3 giorni dopo x assaggiare altre prelibatezze come i secondi piatti... che dire?
