Went there as a tourist. Due to earlier experience I was unsure if I was supposed to wait to be seated or just sit down at the Tea Room. Since no one approached me I thought maybe just sit down... I see a waitress coming and I ask her "should I just sit down?" and she literally just replies "nein" and walks on. So I stand there for a while to give her time to tell me how I should go on about ordering. More than once she walks by me and I get eye contact with her and she just completely ignores me as if I'm garbage and let's me just stand there humiliated for ten minutes while she acts all nice to the ones already sitting.

In the end I just left and went into the bakery section and got a few pastries and luckily found an Italian place nearby that got me some coffee.

In hindsight maybe she just didn't understand my question and meant she doesn't speak English which obviously is fine, but that doesn't explain the disrespectful treatment. It's incredible that you're in the service business and THIS is how you act with guests.

I'm sure whoever reading this is wondering I must have been done something to deserve it but no seriously, I came in calmly, waited a few minutes to figure out how it works and then...

Very rude staff, refused to serve us 45 minutes before they closed, because it was too close to closing time. If that's the case, then they should change the closing time. They had meringues and desserts ready already. The waitress almost looked annoyed with us! I think her face would crack if she tried to smile, and perhaps there was a hint of racism? when we asked if we could order, she suddenly got angry and looked like she was chewing a live wasp. We left. Surely in Covid-recovery periods, the tourism industry in such a nice town, full of nice people, should treat...

We had a very disappointing experience with the service. We asked one of the waitresses for the name of a specific cake so we could order it. She told us the name and said we should place the order through our own waitress.

When our waitress came, I asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream like the one we had earlier, and the cake we had just asked about.

Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Instead of the cake and vanilla ice cream, we received a scoop of chocolate ice cream. When we pointed out the mistake, the waitress simply said, “That’s what there is,” and told us we could place a new order if we wanted something else—but she wouldn’t replace what had already been served, even though the mistake was on their side.

Wir hatten eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung mit dem Service. Wir haben eine der Kellnerinnen nach dem Namen eines bestimmten Kuchens gefragt, damit wir ihn bestellen können. Sie nannte uns den Namen und sagte, wir sollten die Bestellung bei unserer eigenen Kellnerin aufgeben.

Als unsere Kellnerin kam, habe ich eine Kugel Vanilleeis – wie die, die wir zuvor hatten – und den Kuchen bestellt, nach dem wir gefragt hatten.

Leider war der Service miserabel. Anstatt des Kuchens und Vanilleeises bekamen wir eine Kugel Schokoladeneis. Als wir auf den Fehler hinwiesen, sagte die Kellnerin einfach: „Das ist, was es gibt“, und meinte, wir könnten etwas Neues bestellen, aber sie könne das, was sie bereits gebracht hatte, nicht austauschen – obwohl der Fehler ganz offensichtlich auf ihrer Seite lag.
