We've been to this place thrice now and each time a problem rose up...
1st time: My partner ordered a bowl of ramen without mushrooms and with extra vegetable but the order was messed up and they instead got the ramens with mushrooms and no extra vegetable... Also the drink they wanted wasn't in stock...
2nd time: Okay fair enough this time it wasn't their fault but it still adds up to the frustration since we were really counting on getting asian food, the cuisine wasn't functional because of a shortage in gas (it had been raining and a storm was raiging on outside so fair enough)
Adding up, my partner could still not get their drink and yeah... it's annoying. How are they managing their stock ? How is it possible since they couldn't serve anybody ?
3rd time: The waitress messed up and put the order ticket at the wrong place so the chefs couldn't see it... We waited 30 minutes more than it would normally. (Update) I would like to add that we were only a few customers and there were like 4 tables grand max.
Overall the customer service is okayish, nothing much to say. It's the minimum.
The food is okay, more on the good side than the bad side. But a bit pricey for what it is, the food quality is okay and the serving size is also okay. (Do not take something other than the ramens, it is clearly not worth your money.)
The best thing about this place is the atmosphere, just look at the photos other people have posted it's really nice looking, I especially like the tree and the hanging plants.
In conclusion I would only go there if I'm desperate enough... call it bad luck but I'm calling it incompetence. I would rather go in a place like the Sushizen in Lausanne near the train station since they offer the near exact same...
Read moreDeep disappointment – we won’t be coming back
We had visited this restaurant several times before and always left satisfied. That’s why our most recent experience was especially disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable on several levels.
The dish I ordered was of poor quality – the meat was clearly frozen, a low-grade, prepackaged product. When I asked the young waiter whether this was indeed what I thought it was, he simply replied, “meat is meat, it’s the same.” I completely disagree with that attitude. When I sit down in a restaurant, I expect freshly prepared food made from quality ingredients. If I’m in the mood for frozen nuggets, I’ll go to McDonald’s – not a place where I’m paying restaurant prices.
The food was practically inedible. I tried to eat some, but ended up consuming only about 20% of it. My husband did finish his dish, but it wasn’t impressive either. We both left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, especially because we hate wasting food.
What truly sealed our negative experience, however, was the behavior of the waitress. When I politely explained that I didn’t feel it was fair to pay for a meal I could barely eat, her response was arrogant, mocking, and downright dismissive. Her tone was rude and completely unprofessional. No customer should be treated like that – especially not in hospitality, where respectful communication is fundamental.
We’re genuinely sorry to say goodbye to a place we used to like, but this experience left a lasting negative impression. We will not...
Read moreWe had a bad experience. Our waitress forgot to put both our drinks order and food order through the system. We waited 20 Mins for our drinks - and that was only after I went to the bar to request where they were, food took 45 mins and was not worth the wait. They weren’t busy and other people that came in after us were served their food within 20 Mins. We didn’t have the ramen as it was a warm evening. The katsu curry and yaki soba were terrible. The yaki soba was sweet, and instead of noodles they used spaghetti!!! If you are going to go there stick with ramen and gyoza!!! Disappointing...
