I have rarely experienced such a lack of customer sense as at La Plage de Nyon. At 6:30 pm the entire terrace was completely empty, yet the staff flat-out refused to serve a simple drink because they claimed the restaurant would be full in half an hour. Not only were they extremely unpleasant in their manner, but this kind of attitude shows absolutely no understanding of hospitality or business. Any establishment with the slightest idea of customer service knows that welcoming guests for a drink is how you build goodwill and future business. Here, it seems the opposite applies. The lawn is beautiful maintained, free to access, has very clean toilet facilities and has a restaurant and bar on site. There is parking on the main road but it fills up quickly.
