The hotel was spacious, however it was very odd. First, we had the suite on the first floor which came with a kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Therefore the space provided was very nice. However, since we visited in June, it was very warm and they did not have air conditioning, which is expected. We slept with the door open, however we could hear the conversation from people at the bar right below us. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, and there was a group of men being extremely loud. We could also smell their cigarettes with the doors open (we don’t smoke).||The second bedroom was spacious but opened up to a weird space. Therefore we couldn’t open the windows as it was a dark/junky open space right behind the room (there was a broken washing machine literally sitting in the area). Therefore this room was very warm and did not have any air flow at night. I attached a picture of the area behind the second bedroom ||The next morning, we woke up and went down to have breakfast. When we walked around from the elevator to the lobby area, there was a large door that was dead bolted shut. We started to look for other ways out of the elevator area, but only found stairs that lead back upstairs. Within a few minutes, the desk clerk came and opened the door (yes it was deadbolted). I’m not sure if we were locked into the hotel area or what, however we were relieved when the door was opened. ||I asked the lady why it was locked and she either didn’t understand me or didn’t want to answer.||Lastly, I had asked to do laundry here. At first the desk clerk said I had laundry in the suite, so I went upstairs and checked. I came back down and explained that I didn’t see a washer/dryer and she replied saying that we can only do laundry whole housekeeping was working. Therefore, laundry facilities are not easily accessible to traveling families at this hotel.||Overall, I would have given this hotel a higher ranking however the door being locked to exit from the hotel area into the lobby was extremely odd and makes me uncomfortable to stay here...

Read moreWe stayed at this hotel in St. Moritz in March with my husband and our son, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great.
We had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms during our time there. The newly renovated room was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully designed—it felt like a real treat. The older room, while quite large and with a stunning mountain view, did feel a bit dated, but we understood the hotel is in the process of upgrading all rooms, and it’s great to see that work in progress.
Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety, and everything throughout the hotel was well maintained and welcoming.
What truly sets this hotel apart, and the reason we are giving it five stars, is the exceptional way the staff handled a personal emergency we experienced during our stay. They were incredibly supportive, kind, and went out of their way to accommodate us—extending our stay, offering another room at the same discounted rate, and making sure we had everything we needed during a difficult time.
It’s in moments like these that you truly see the value of good hospitality. While the second half of our trip was personally challenging, the staff’s support and care made a huge difference. It was not just good service—it was genuine kindness, and for that we’re very grateful.
If we return to St. Moritz, we will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run hotel with heart. Thank you again to the entire team for everything...
