We were a group of 9 from Hong Kong and Toronto visiting the area for a night. We picked this restaurant due to good previous review. Everything was fine until the main course.
Everyone’s dish was satisfactory except my friend’s rib eye. The rib eye was way under cooked and very rubbery. My friend tried to cut it but it was full of tendons and very raw. By the time the 8 of us were almost finished, my friend was still trying to cut the rubbery meat. Eventually, we made a complaint. The server said there was no policy to replace the dish. He said he had 44 years of experience ; rib eyes are all like that. The piece of meat only needed more cooking. It would be all fine after more cooking. When the recooked rib eye came back, it was still raw inside. The 8 of us were ready to order dessert but my friend was struggling to cut the rubbery meat. In the end, he gave up. The server came and took away the piece of meat ( rubber?). He did not apologize or offer a different meal option. It was the most terrible dining experience in Switzerland. The server was very rude, unapologetic and defensive. Bad experience. Bad memory! Will never return; will never recommend...
Read moreMy wife and I had an overnight stay in St Moritz and came upon this restaurant for lunch, as it was close to our hotel. We shared the chicken breast, rosti with cheese and mushrooms and a salad. What a fantastic combination! Neither of us felt that hungry but ate everything because we couldn't get enough of the good taste. Giancarlo was our host and waiter. Fantastic service! We decided to go back there for a light dinner over everywhere else. We shared the caprese, mixed grilled vegetables and our own onion soup. Again, Giancarlo was there to meet and serve us. He made this meal so special. Treated us like family. What a great guy. I almost wish we were staying in St Moritz a little longer so we could see him again and be treated to another great meal! If you go to St Moritz, you HAVE to go to...
Read moreThe service was an absolute delight. The waiter was super courteous and willing to help us on our food choices and was patient with our kids. He also was quite obliging when we asked to share for kids. The Spaghetti Cabo and Penne Arabiatta were quite tasty. Also it was open at 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon which in itself is a privilege in St. Moritz. We will like to...
