Baan Thai Unterstadt — Restaurant in Sursee

The food was really good and inexpensive. I took the food to go. I could fill the container they provided with as much as I wanted from their small buffet (see photo) for 12.50 CHF. So you can get a tasty and big enough meal for cheap. They also provide spoons and chopsticks and they ofter two kind of sauce for free. I think sweet and sour and a spicy one with chillies. So this was great.

Two bad points: there are no labels with the containing ingredients for their offered food. You can guess if something contains meat but not be sure if it's cooked in chicken broth or no. So you'd have to ask. The restaurant is quite small with a lot of tables and chairs crammed into it. There will be a lot of people during lunch sitting and going for take away and then it get's too crowded in there. Because the buffet is placed so that they block people from entering, other people sitting there and the queue for people wanting to pay goes through the whole restaurant annoying even more eating people. Es war ein horror!! Wir haben uns aufs Abendessen gefreut!!! Wir kamen rein und es riech schon verbrannt!! Beim schöpfen von unseren Tellern dachten wir, es riech noch mehr nach Verbrannt!!! Ich hatte Glassnudeln und Mais! Es war total verbrannt und beim 1 Biss wiederstehte mir das!! Alls ich dies äusserte, liess ab nach dem 1 biss der teller stehn, weill es mir leider wiederstand! Die Dame kam und ich äusserte, ich kann das leider nicht Essen und es hatte mir leider abgellöscht! Diese Dame war laut gworden und äusserte Sie machen jetzt neues Essen! Ich äusserte noch, für mich ist O.K ich möchte nichtsmehr! Meine 2 Kinder knapp 1 Jahr und das andere 3Jahre assen je 1 Mais-bällchen und mussten je 5fr. Bezahlen!!! Mein Mann ass auch nur 1 Teller! Ich äusserte - ich habe ja nicht gegessen warum muss ich 20.- + bezahlen! Diese service Chefin rief aus!!! Und äusserte, sie fühle sich verarscht!! Ich verstand die Welt nicht mehr!! Sie hatte mich vor allen Gästen laut zusammen gestaucht! Ich habe dann das Spiegelbild aufgezeigt und geäussert: es kann ja nicht sein, dass wenn mann verbranntes ja schon riecht und mann kein verstänntniss habe, dass wir das letzte mal hier waren! Zuvor waren wir sporrafisch da aber leider hat es immer mehr abgegeben! Heute dieser vorfall!! Wir kommen niemehr!!! Das angerichtete war schon nicht so schön angerichtet! Und das verbrannte! Auch das trocken Reis riechte nicht mehr so toll! Mit diesem Ton dieser Dame hatten die anderen unserer Runde keinen lust mehr und giengen!
