Given a chicken wrap when I’m vegan!

Was excited to see a ‘100% plant based burger’ on the menu, but when I asked for it to be vegan I was told that the bun is cooked in butter, therefore not making it completely plant based. It would be such an easy substitution to make!

Anyway, I order the vegan wrap, however when I bit into it, it was chicken! I had been given someone else’s on our table, so I had to spit out chicken. If I had allergies or didn’t eat meat for religious reasons, this would have been very bad.

The wrap itself was just salad in a tortilla. No sauce, no meat substitutes, very sad.

It’s 2025, please...

Went here for a late lunch and ordered an Offshore surfer burger + cheeseburger for my child. The burgers were pretty much raw and I had to ask twice to have it recooked. By the second time the meat was burnt to a crisp (a new burger would have been appreciated for the price of 30chf, but no). I didn’t argue as the waitress seemed exasperated.

Then the traditional pancakes came, which they always seem to burn. Why?

This is my personal go to in Verbier whenever I am hungry. If you are smart you can make it affordable but ordering randomly from the menu will leave you shocked when you go to pay the bill (as it will with all places in Verbier). Ask for a sandwich with chicken and show them the attached picture if they don’t know what you’re asking for. It was so good and roughly 20 chf. You get chicken 2 eggs and bacon if you ask for it.
