Nooch — Restaurant in Wallisellen

Nice asian sushi/fusion style estaurant. They have asian dishes with japanese, thai style food. They also have a tremendous selection of sushi and sashimi. The place is split up in two seating areas that have a distinctive different look. Both are comfortable and offer a good ambiance. They have outdoor seating which tends to be a little bit drafty due to the way the surrounding buildings are set up. The chicken sweet and sour could have been a little more poignant (more sweet and more sour) but it did not spoil the mood. For drinks I ordered sparkling plum wine mixer. This time the quantity was notably smaller than on previous times. The waitress explained that they normally use measuring the same measuring devices to prepare the drinks, but she made no big fuss about it and topped up the drinks to a (for us) normal and fair level. Good job! 👍🏻

This is the first time I have ever left a bad review after eating at a restaurant but really the behavior of the waiter is what ruined the experience for us. I will not mention his name (even though I know it, as I saw it on the badge he was wearing), but he was so rude to us! We wanted to order and he was trying to make it as quick as possible and didn’t have the patience to help us out when we were telling him what we wanted, it is as if we were bothering him! Then after a while we wanted to order something else to try and he told us to be fast in such a rude way!! I have never had anyone tell me to be fast when we were just trying to order something! And it’s not that he was giving us the food for free! Also we ordered two drinks and we had to ask him to bring as two other straws as he had picked them with his own fingers ( he touched the part from where we drink with his fingers). The atmosphere and the food were amazing really! But I don’t think we will be coming back with that behavior...
