La Esquina — Restaurant in Wallisellen

I have been going here since forever. The staff is super nice. The food is tasty. I recommend the Flammkuchen, Dedos de Pollo and a few other veggie dishes. The burger is popular with my friends and repeats itself. So if you fancy it, I would recommend it based on the frequency of how often it appears on the dining table. 😉 The choice of beer is nice. I came here for a lunch meeting. We were greeted friendly and offered a nice table. Service was quick and efficient.

I had the their Lemon Chicken Bowl which was delicious, maybe a touch too much oil / dressing.

The restaurant is conveniently located just opposite Wallisellen station. There is limited paid on street parking available nearby, or if you want a free parking option (up to 4 hours), you may park in the nearby Glatt Center which is around a 10 minutes walk away.

Meine Partnerin und ich hatten einen tollen Abend im La Esquina! Die Location ist sehr zentral gelegen und stilvoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Abend noch angenehmer gemacht hat.

Die Auswahl an Drinks ist wirklich grossartig, und die Tapas-Auswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns für zwei hervorragende Drinks entschieden und dazu verschiedene Tapas probiert – die Datteln im Speckmantel und die frittierten Avocados waren einfach fantastisch! Zum Abschluss gab es eine unglaublich leckere Crema Catalana – ein perfekter Abschluss eines gelungenen Abends.

Für zwei Personen war der Preis absolut fair und der Qualität und dem Ambiente entsprechend. Wir haben wirklich nichts auszusetzen und werden sicher wiederkommen. Ein echtes spanisches Juwel mitten in Wallisellen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Kleiner Fun-Fact am Rande: Wir haben die „Trump Free Zone“-Sticker draussen entdeckt – eine witzige und doch bemerkenswerte Note, auch wenn wir dazu politisch neutral bleiben.
