Blue Lounge is truly a gem in Zermatt, offering an unparalleled experience that captivates from the moment you arrive. The breathtaking view is just the beginning of what makes this place so special. The real magic of Blue Lounge, however, lies in its exceptional staff. Huge shoutout to Wouter, Miqueas, Stephanie, Sol, Rafael, Sebastian, Jaime, and Luc – you guys are the heart and soul of this place. It was awesome to see how well you all work together, making every visit fun and welcoming.

My girlfriend and I ended up here every single day of our week-long trip, and it quickly became the best part of our day. The staff made us feel right at home, greeting us with familiar faces and making us feel like part of the Blue Lounge family, which meant a lot while we were so far from our own home.

The Blue Lounge was a welcome surprise at Matterhorn Paradise! We were skiing up near Blauherd station and discovered this mountaintop site with a beautiful view. The food is delicious and for Switzerland - it was fairly priced! Several types of loaded french fries were amazing and a huge portion! Try the ones with basil mayo and arugula! The thin-crust pizza was fantastic and there were several choices. The drinks included beer, wine, and best of all some inventive coffee drinks! Try the coffee with the apricot liquor. Even better than the food and the prices was the service! Everyone was happy and willing to give us free tap water -- which is a big deal at the Matterhorn. Usually, they want to charge you 7-9 CHF (about $10 USD).

The Blue Lounge is easy to find -- something that's also unusual at such a large ski area. And for your friends who are injured and can't ski --accessible by foot as it's a few feet from the lift that arrives at Blauherd station. We found this restaurant on our way down and it offered us a nice break from all the walking. There are tables, couches, and lounge chairs available on the terrace overlooking the mountains with music playing in the background. The view was breathtaking!

Staff were friendly and attentive. The food came out super quick and everything was delicious. We ordered chicken nuggets and fries for the kids, the chicken salad sandwich, burger, and the Caribbean smoothie. Prices are comparable to the rest of Zermatt. No complaints at all!
