The service, like taking our order and bringing it, was good, we visited on a day/time when we were the only people in the restaurant (17:00 or 18:00 I don’t remember exactly, it was a few months back), however the food, a.k.a the main attraction of this place such as steak was poorly and subpar cooked.
I ordered the most expensive steak they sell, without a stone, already cooked by a chef (for my partner) along with a ribeye on a stone for myself. The appetiser was great (prawns) although the design/layout of the dish and the amount of the food was different (less) than other times I’ve been there, then when the steak arrive, the filet was rare (we ordered medium rare) and also cold beyond imagination, as if it’s been left to rest in the fridge instead of room temperature.
I was shocked.
Then no one checked on us, the staff was missing from the counter and I had to search for them to request a solution. My ribeye on the stone was fine, no issues.
What’s even worse is that their so called “chef” on that day didn’t even check the filet temperature before handing it to the waiter, despite cooking it and plating it himself and that left a very bad impression for me about a so-called steakhouse that’s supposed to be specialised in steak.
They even sent a different waiter after our steak complaint despite the fact that the initial waiter was kind enough and provided good service. Almost as if he couldn’t take the blame, even though we were polite and didn’t blame him. That in itself also added salt on the wound, having even our waiter replaced. 🤦🏻♂️
At that point it felt like I was dining in a very amateurish/prematurely-open establishment. Argentina Steakhouse, don’t get me wrong I’m willing to pay a high price for a steak if I actually get what I pay for, the initial waiter did his best, but the kitchen and the coordination decision between waiters afterwards quite ruined my impression about your establishment. My partner ended up eating my steak and I ate his since I don’t mind rare steak, but still.. in such a beautiful establishment there shouldn’t be room for improvisations as a way to deal with the staff/kitchen mistakes. My first thought after we left was maybe we arrived to early and the chef (in case there was just one) was either too late and didn’t get the chance to fire up his grill high enough or I don’t know… but it felt like I was a beta-tester for a restaurant that hasn’t opened yet. I might give it a chance in the future, if things improved since, I will change my rating....

We decided with my Brothers to go for a nice steak after going to see ricky Gervais show, first according to its website, the restaurant was supposed to be closed. To our surprise, it was actually open, so we decided to go in and ask if we could still have a meal. It was around 9:15 PM, on a saturday! and although the terrace was about half full, with roughly 30 people who appeared to have finished their meals since their plates were still on the tables, it didn’t seem like anyone was actively working on the terrace. Inside the restaurant, it was completely empty. When we asked if we could still be served, the staff member told us there wasn’t enough staff to serve outside ( only 2 people) and that it would take about 20 minutes just to get drinks.I am always the first to understand if people are busy and that an establishment is under staff or are too busy but this was not the case, also I do not give reviews often but this service was so bad I really felt the need to share this especially for the owners because the restaurant actually looks really good!
Any way the waiters demeanor made it clear that he wasn’t eager to accommodate us. When we asked again about sitting outside, he dismissively suggested that we could leave if we weren’t happy, making us feel completely unwelcome. I want to describe this This individual so his employers are aware he was bald, wore glasses, and had a very smug attitude, he provided one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. If the owners care about their establishment, they should ensure that situations like this never happen and that staff members like him are not employed in customer service....
Read moreVisit on Friday 17th of October. Disappointing experience. The waiter (blond with blue eyes) was very rude. We started ordering the steaks and then the starter and he made a comment that: he had already sent the order of the stakes in the kitchen and that we first need to order starters and then the main. That hilarious. He was still taking our order. Then I asked my stake medium and when they brought it the animal was ready to run (super blue). They had to take it back in the kitchen to cook it more. Overall, if someone does not like the job he/she does or he/she is overwhelmed because he/she is waiter/ prepares drinks/ takes order in parallel - well, that is not my business. I go on a Friday night to a restaurant to have fun and I expect that I am respected by the service. We will never go...
