In my 3 years on Taiwan, this might be the worst meal I have ever eaten. I have given 1 star for the comedy factor of the meal, since it is also the funniest meal I have ever had in Taiwan. I believe the chef of this meal may have seen an old painting of what this meal was supposed to be, but has never had it before.
The steak, which was the first thing we tried to eat, was refrigerator temperature when it was served to us. I believe that it might have been cooked a few days ago?
The lobster was also about refrigerator temperature when it was served and I also don't believe, judging by the taste, that it was cooked today or even this week. I also believe that the person who prepared it has never had lobster before, since it was sent out with no utensils and only a single crack in the claw. Let's just say that things got pretty messy pretty quick ;) and that fragments of shell will be found on the ceiling many generations from now.
The scallop could not have been fresh when it was cooked and tasted foul even. We were only able to eat a half of a single scallop and only because my partner could not believe me when I said how bad it was.
The cuddlefish were inedible, also having been frozen for quite a long time and cooked poorly (and cold, following the theme of this meal). You can see the remnants of it on the plate.
The only thing edible was the peppers, which were cooked to perfection - one or two days ago - and then left in the refrigerator for quite some time before being served.
All in all it was worth the 1,400 NT for the laugh. We are now off to McDonalds to complete our meal and get the taste out of our mouth. If you are looking for comedy entertainment with a high ticket price, come here and order a meal.

Read moreI have not been to this restaurant after the pandemic, it was so great! I re-visit again last Saturday, and I got shocked by the table arrangement, they fill up the entire spacing with more table and were so crowded! Nobody cares about social distance anymore and people all rush to grap the food, what a mess....... disappointed experience! The owner shall reconsider if this is the business model, they will continue to operate...
