Beitou District Night Market — Local services in Taipei

A pretty busy place, during the day time, the streets are filled with farmer vendors and foods as they overflow from the indoor market, located at the north end of the street. By night those street vendors leave and the night vendors appear.

Being a locally oriented market place, the quality of foods are, overall better than a more popular market trying to make a quick buck.

Being a transfer station, this neighborhood is more commercial than the neighboring stops.

Would I come here specifically for the night markets? Not if there was a time constraint, but if you happen to be at a local hot spring, or hiking the mountains to the north, one could stop by before heading...

Not a very long food street but has various food available plus fruits. Has a couple of shops too. Could explore this area if you have time in the evening!
