Great environment to hang out and relax on a rainy day. But in general I would say the CP value is on the low side.
Environment - great renovated old heritage building with modern interior. Love the way they have done it, very clean lines with some red wood tones. Plants at the entrance was a nice touch (but some might need tendering because they were browning a bit)
Food - Selection on menu was limited. Only dry noodles and salad and quiche. All available in sets only. This made ordering quite bothersome as the food quantity was small and we were not able to order more food without getting more drinks… it is not a problem to order more, but it felt wasteful to end up with drinks we couldn’t finish. And it made us not want to order desserts afterward. Suggest to allow a la carte orders without drinks and give a minimum order of 1 set per person.
We ordered 2 chicken salad and a quiche. The salad with skewered chicken was nothing too special, felt quite hungry afterwards. The quiche was quite cold, and the fillings were not even, which meant that the one I had was just eggs while the one my friend ate had fillings which tasted much better.
Service - service was friendly but delayed. I’m not sure whether it was due to shortage in staff as it didn’t feel too busy inside. Our drinks didn’t arrive until 45 mins later. I asked for more water and an extra glass (as the water jar had only small amount of water and there was only 1 glass). The glass arrived 20-30 mins later and the water was refilled after we finished the water… I suggest having extra water jars… The server was aware of this and gave us some dessert treats (3/4 of a dorayaki) in the end which is...
Read moreToday is the second time I have visited this place for lunch and killing time in the afternoon. Both times I ordered noodles and they're really delicious and worth being recommended. The ambiance is bright and the interior design of the store is also very beautiful, especially when the sunshine comes in. However, such a temperamental place has ruined by the chatter of many ladies here, and there's not only one table to do that, the sound was like in the market, I couldn't even hear the music in the background of the store. Such a temperamental place is full of so many guests without public morality. I sincerely suggest that the stuff should promptly ask the guests to lower the volume, not only for respecting others, but also maintaining the image...
Read moreWe were there waiting for the restaurant to be open 15 minutes before it open. But when it opened, no one was at the door to arrange seats for guests. The restaurant just let all the guests in to find seats without telling people where to go and where not to. We walked up to third floor before realizing it’s off limits (office spaces). By the time we came downstairs, all seats on the second and first floor were taken by people that came in after us. They told us they don’t take reservation for smaller parties but I see people arranging tables themselves with reserved sign on the table. So, why do we bother waiting in line? I think the restaurant need to improve the way they handle seating arrangements when there is line outside...
