Sorry the customer service is phenomenal, but this is by far the worst pizza place I’ve gone to in MY LIFE.....When I first went in, it smelled like tacky cheese, unbearable smell a bit like rubber? I think their ventilation is horrible and I’m not sensitive about these things. I almost never can not stand a restaurants smell. I thought after a while i would adapt to it, but no. My god. The food let me tell you —it’s even worse. I even ordered more pizza to try to make myself feel better for perhaps ordering a bad flavor. But no. It was just as bad. Even the girl I was with was super disappointed and she’s a local Taiwanese. Really don’t know how people can like this place but if you’re from overseas, I really don’t suggest you try this. Maybe this is “good” to taiwan people, but I don’t see this being good at all to any foreigners. I gave an extra star for the service but for the food, I would give it 0 stars. We ended up giving the left over (there was a lot because of how bad each flavor was) to the homeless at xinyi district. That’s how...
Read moreI’ve had this store’s pizza a few times but today was the first time I’d visited the restaurant itself. There isn’t a lot of seating and the open kitchen takes up half of the space but it gives the place a really cozy feeling. There are thousands of decorations lining the walls and ceiling of the shop which are the owners private collection of eclectic collectibles. There are about 16 different pizzas you can choose from or you can create your own from the list of toppings. They have thick and thin crust options along with double cheese or sauce. We tried the Hawaiian, the supreme, and a cheese pizza with an order of wings. They were all delicious and the crust was cooked perfectly. It is quite different from fast food pizza and you can taste the care that...
Read moreThe name of this place may be misleading because they don't offer Chicago deep dish pizza. This restaurant was part of a Japanese chain so blame the Japanese if you don't like the name. That said if you know what to order and how to customize your pizza, you can get the best American style pizza in Taipei. You can also get a good deal when you get it to go (Buy one get one free.)
My favorite is number 8 combo with thin crust (for low carb). Number 8 comes with extra cheese and olive, but I add extra cheese for bone health, extra olive for heart health and extra (tomato) sauce for prostate health. It is so good I can almost eat a 14 inch pizza by myself.
For Italian style pIzza, I go to a different place, but when I get homesick for American food,...
