For the price, this sushi omakase restaurant offers excellent value. At around $70, I was able to enjoy a full variety of high-end fish that would typically cost $150+ at other places.
All the dishes were well-prepared, with the only small issue being that the sanma wasn’t fully defrosted. Other than that, everything was on point.
The restaurant seats about 18, but there were only 7 guests during our dinner, which made it a very intimate and comfortable experience. With just one chef behind the counter, he was able to focus on every detail. You could tell he was a bit nervous, but he clearly cared and did his best to provide a thoughtful, enjoyable experience.
Portions were generous—so much so that I was completely full by the end and couldn’t order any add-ons, even though I had planned to try the uni daily special, one of my favorites. Well… next time!
Special highlights for me were the tuna with marinated egg roll and the red snapper—both were absolutely delicious. Would...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. While I understand this was not the most premium menu on offer, it still came with expectations of quality and service, both of which were not met.
If I could give zero stars, I would not give it any star at all.
The biggest issue was the speed at which we were rushed through the entire meal. We arrived on time, yet the pacing was completely unacceptable. The first course was barely placed in front of me before the second was already being served. The whole experience was over in just 60 minutes. For an omakase, that is not just rushed, it is careless.
While the staff were polite and generally helpful, we were asked to settle the bill while still drinking our sake, with nearly a third left in the bottle. This felt like a clear signal to leave, even though our reservation time had not been exceeded.
And the sake, where do I even start? It was not cold enough, no proper sake glasses were provided, and most shockingly, they did not even show us the bottle. How are we supposed to know we were served what we actually ordered? That is completely unacceptable, especially when the sake cost nearly as much as the meal itself.
For a restaurant positioning itself as a quality omakase destination, this experience felt more like fast food with a luxury price tag. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending it to anyone who values the essence of omakase which should be about care, pacing, and respect for the diner’s experience.
Read moreThe traditional and elegant atmosphere instantly transported us to Japan. The space was spotless and serene. We were lucky to have the entire private room for our family gathering, which made the experience feel extra special. The service was excellent—warm, attentive, and professional.
Every dish was incredibly fresh and delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, each course was a delightful surprise that kept us eagerly anticipating the next. You can truly feel the chef’s care and creativity in every bite.
Bringing my family here was such a proud moment—everyone loved it! It’s definitely a place I’ll...
