I came to this restaurant a few months ago and was impressed by the authentic mole. The price was definitely high, maybe even outrageous, but for the taste (and the service) I was happy to pay it.
Fast forward to this evening, when I decided to treat a friend (who loves all things Mexico) to dinner here. The restaurant was quite empty at 6:45 PM on a Saturday night. In spite of this, the hostess quite rudely refused to let us sit inside (claiming the reservation book was full), insisting that the outside tables were our only choice. There were no fans or misters to cool us, and she took a long time to bring menus and water.
We ended up leaving, feeling unwelcome and not wanting to pay 1000 NT (at a minimum, for both of us) to sweat through a meal and be mostly ignored by a waitress that clearly didn’t want to serve us.

The place is decorated with nature wood. Very cozy and calm vibe. The wine and liquor menu is bigger than the dinning menu. Probably a good place to dine, I e., If you understand how to.
The set menu is what you should go to while ordering. Study the set menu rather than the individual dishes menu will get you a much better deal. We weren't aware of this "special tips" !
Like the owner wrote on the first page of menu, you are welcome to dine here if you agree with their service rules, which BTW remind me of the "soup master" in Manhattan! LoL!

The owner said she would ask the cook if he was ready or ok to cook some food. He said yes. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, they were good and the sauce was on point. But there was no rice or beans with my meal, considering the price I paid I expected at least that. Which is customary with Mexican food. Had a beer with my lunch and then some dessert. So when I went to go pay I was shocked at the price for my three items that I ordered. On top of that the owner charged a service fee and gave minimal service. So this is the sort of place I would recommend once and only once. As good as the food is, the price is definitely not worth it. And the portions were on...
