L 'AGE aging Restaurant — Restaurant in Da'an District

We found L'AGE on Google Map, the wonderful journey started from the friendly staff. We ordered a set and a la cart which I could only say amazing. Home made bread is a bit different from what we usually have in Taiwan, soft with a subtle taste, smells good. Spring rolls filled with Grouper and Chicken is a must. I took a pasta with calamari and chicken, a wonderful combination of both. My friend order a Sirloin smoked by jasmi tea leaves infront of us, juicy and tender. Crem Bulee dressed with red wine sea salt, a perfect ending. Serving portion is good for adults and I must say, the staff serves with passion. This bistro is a hidden delight. The menu may seem simple, but the food is anything but. Every dish is amazingly seasoned and the flavors are absolutely rich. I recommend getting a few main entrees and appetizers to share, and get some carbohydrates to round things out. I highly recommend the lamb.

Do take note that the tempo of this restaurant is a bit slower than the average. Dishes come out a bit slower, but they are very well crafted. As a large group we had the pleasure of trying lots of dishes from the menu. The ingredients are prepared with skill. The presentation is flawless. Each dish tasted fabulous. The service might be a little slow at times as it's a small team. However the team are very friendly and professional, and any small delay feels worthwhile as soon as you start to taste the food.
