Although the name says its a Szechuan restaurant there really aren’t very many Szechuan dishes on the menu. The restaurant is really known for its chicken soup. It is a pricy 2500 NTD but its huge serving of soup. The other dishes we had were also very good. Good place to go for a solid meal. Better for a large group because the soup can easily serve 10 people.

The soup was served as it is in the clay pot and once finished (you don’t have to eat the chicken) you can request a 2nd serving of veg and tofu (add 300 Taiwanese dollar). They will add soup stocks and veg and tofu. The 2nd serving soup is NOT the same as the first serving, but still very very tasty. We ordered a lot of other dishes as well, including sea slugs (TBH, I thought it should be sea cucumber) and they are also very nice. The texture is a bit like firm jelly.
