Old school shaved ice shop near Taida NTU is one of my favorites in Taipeii. Large selection of traditional Taiwanese shaved ice (no snow ice here). Their specialty topping is the xiao tang yuan, or mini sweet rice balls which are freshly made. During winter, the hot dessert soups or savory tangyuan are popular for people who don’t want something cold.
