Although the name says its a Szechuan restaurant there really aren’t very many Szechuan dishes on the menu. The restaurant is really known for its chicken soup. It is a pricy 2500 NTD but its huge serving of soup. The other dishes we had were also very good. Good place to go for a solid meal. Better for a large group because the soup can easily serve 10 people.

The chicken soup is what most people come here for. It is double boiled and is cooked with a whole chicken and pork trotters. There is a lot of developed flavor here and is not a light chicken stock. Classic Taiwanese cuisine! The most famous meal is chicken soup (reservation required), which is very rich, fragrant, and very nourishing. The order of serving chicken soup will first provide pure chicken soup, and then take it back to the kitchen to add cabbage and simmer (you can add chicken soup to the soup 🐔

Other Chinese dishes are also very delicious, there are all the classic authentic Taiwanese dishes, there are scallion pancakes, fried shrimp 🍤 The waiters are very skilled and the food is served quickly.

All tables are at B1, the first floor is cooking the chicken soup all the time.

☎️ According to this is really popular so PLEASE RESERVE before you come and there have serval private rooms.

The soup was served as it is in the clay pot and once finished (you don’t have to eat the chicken) you can request a 2nd serving of veg and tofu (add 300 Taiwanese dollar). They will add soup stocks and veg and tofu. The 2nd serving soup is NOT the same as the first serving, but still very very tasty. We ordered a lot of other dishes as well, including sea slugs (TBH, I thought it should be sea cucumber) and they are also very nice. The texture is a bit like firm jelly. If you like jelly fish texture, you will enjoy this. Give it a try, what other times you can eat this type of food in Europe? Bubbling hot soup...

NOT WORTH IT This place is flat-out racist. I walked in and was immediately seated at a shared table with strangers, being told all other tables were “fully booked.” Seriously? The restaurant was nearly empty, and it was clear you were close to closing… no one else was coming. Don’t insult people’s intelligence. From the moment I sat down, the staff spoke to me in a raised, aggressive tone as if I was a burden, not a guest. The vibe was cold and unwelcome. For the price they charge for a simple bowl of soup, they should be treating guests like royalty. Instead, all I got was discrimination and zero hospitality. Disgraceful experience. I don’t recommend it.. not even for the mediocre soup.

The best chicken soup you will ever have! The creaminess of the chicken soup comes with 24 hours of cooking in a clay pot, I didn’t feel dehydrated or thirsty after so they must have used natural ingredients instead of MSG. We ordered the basic clay pot which should be sufficient for 6 adults, comes with a whole chicken inside and the chicken essence immediate created a film on top after a minute, you can ask for the servers to help you dissect the chicken to eat later. Option to add 300NTW to add more soup and nappa and tofu, the servers took the pot away to reheat and it came back piping hot, a very nice touch! Staff is friendly and offers you to pack the soup away if you don’t finish.
