A corner café I keep coming back to, not just for the coffee, but for the quiet kind of comfort it brings.
The espresso and pour-over have been consistently good—smooth, balanced, and brewed with a steady hand. Even for someone who doesn’t usually drink coffee, their drinks are easy to love. The iced latte to-go had a surprisingly thick and silky milk foam, which lingered in the best way.
Tried their honey fig tart—layered thoughtfully, letting the original textures and flavors speak for themselves. The berry tart had a cookie-like base that added the perfect crunch, and the strawberry cake was soft, light, and refreshing—though the cream might feel a bit much for some. Still, the cake base had a lovely fragrance, the kind that reminds you of childhood birthday parties.
The matcha au lait was another pleasant surprise—not overly sweet, even at light sugar, with a matcha flavor that felt calm rather than overpowering.
What makes the place even more special is the atmosphere—plenty of sunlight filtering in through the windows, music that quietly sets the tone, and staff who smile like they mean it. They’re polite, warm, and attentive, even during busy hours, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone finds a seat.
There’s no time limit, and some seats even have outlets, but it’s best to arrive before 1 p.m. if you want a spot without waiting. Perfect for a slow afternoon with a book, a bit of work, or just your own thoughts.
A place that doesn’t try too hard to impress—because it...

Once inside you’ll find a relaxing cosy environment with an interesting choice of drinks and cakes. I had the sicilian lemon coffee and a fresh fruit cake with cherries and strawberries. Both were delicious, however the cake wasn’t just good it was exceptional. The staff were friendly and I’m sure I’ll be returning to try their other cakes.
Note that the coffee shop opens until 7pm and is fairly small so space is limited. If coming by car you’ll need to park in the department store...
