新竹都城隍廟，人稱新竹城隍廟，是位於臺灣新竹市北區的城隍廟，列屬市定古蹟。本廟與觀音亭、外天后宮並稱新竹三大廟 城隍廟的建築規模宏大，本體採三殿式，格局方正，各部分木作雕飾均講究，龍柱是粵東知名石匠辛亞救的作品；大門上方八卦藻井為泉州惠安大木匠師王益順的作品。大殿屋頂懸掛「金門保障」匾額，為光緒帝所賜金匾。城隍廟入口兩側牆面的「正直」、「聰明」四字，為臺灣唯一的溥儀御筆，是滿洲國首任外交總長、曾獲勳一等旭日大綬章的謝介石請匾[2]，「理陰贊陽」匾則是地方開台進士鄭用錫所贈[3]。 於農曆7月（鬼月）時新竹市有「都城隍放、地藏王收」的傳統，由新竹城隍廟開鬼門[4]，新竹東寧宮封鬼門[5]。 鬼月期間廟內外會舉辦祭典活動，尤其在農曆7月15日，都城隍出巡時最為熱鬧，隊伍綿延數公里，家家戶戶沿街祭拜，是由都城隍正殿本尊親自出巡，頗為隆重。 風水位置是平洋龍結穴是不可多得（平...
