The reviews were very high for this place and I was excited to see their menu as it had some hard to find (in Taiwan) items. I ordered takeout a few times - I've tried their veg starters and I unfortunately can't recommend them:
Tandoori Aloo (Hard to find in Taiwan) - Tasted bland and the quantity wasn't great. 2/5 Tandoori Cauliflower - This one is decent sometimes but the quality is not consistent. 3/5 overall. Hara Bhara Kabab - Tasteless without green/tamarind chutney. 2/5 Punjabi Cutlet - Avoid at all costs. I didn't even know what I was eating. It made me feel a bit sick afterwards. 0/5 Veg Seekh Kabab - 0/5. Weird texture and tasted very similar to the above cutlet somehow (IDK how this is even possible)
I have a feeling that this restaurant freezes their starters for a long time and then fries/prepares them when someone places an order. Definitely not worth spending 300NTD for one of the above dishes. Freshly made kababs should (1) "melt in your mouth" and (2) explode with flavor, neither of which is even remotely achieved by Lucky.
I really wanted to like this restaurant but the quality let me down. In case someone does visit this place, however, I'd just get the curries (subzi) cause they're probably going to be better than...

Read moreWe decided to have lunch at this restaurant based on Google 4.7 ratings. After finishing our lunch, I went back to check the reviews to see if we went to a different restaurant. I would like to share my review and hopefully it may be helpful. I ordered the yogurt chicken which is just four drumsticks and a few pickled onion rings, a few chopped lettuce. The pickled onion rings are probably the best of the entire dish. Th chicken is over spiced and salty. The dish comes with two sauces and they did not enhance the taste of the chicken. The dish which basically give me four drumsticks costs $400. My husband ordered lamb which is ok. The dish does not come with rice or roti or nann so we have to order Roti which costed us another $80 each. For over $1,000, I expect to have a more satisfying meal. The staff were courteous, however, it is just what I would expect. The payment process is slow. When we gave the waitress $2,000, she took the money and looked in the cash register, then asks if we can pay with a...
