110豐年小館 — Restaurant in Hualien City

Real local gem. We were staying close by so we decided to give it a try and returned the following night for another round. This place has such heart compared to other restaurants we went to during our stay in Hualien. When we arrived, there was only one other group eating at a table near the back. Once the host realized we spoke English they asked a man from the table to come over and explain the dishes for us. He even gave us food from their table to try to see if we would like it and then came back numerous times to let us try more of their food and to have a drink with us. The food was exactly what we were looking for too. I’m writing this review a month later so I can’t remember the names of the dishes but we had a salt baked fish, sautéed greens and a couple other dishes. Reasonably priced and very delicious. The chef is talented and it clearly shows. It was also the head chef’s birthday when we visited the first time. His family came in with a cake and sang happy birthday in English so that we could sing along and then they gave us pieces of the cake. Very glad we decided to come eat at this restaurant. Would...

delicioius food here. just this a small mom n pop resturant thus need a bit of wait for the food. the watriess extremely friendly and helpful. my son wanted chilli to go with the chicken. she gave him freshly cut chilli with soya sauce. she sensed my son didnt really like it, she gave him more chopped chilli. sensing my son still dun find it hot enough. she gave him a bottle of hot chilli. the roast pork is delicious we ordered...

This restaurant is a very authentic! I feel like home! The owner and owner's wife are super friendly and nice! The foods are so tasty 😋 and very fresh. It’s always very satisfying to eat delicious food without expecting it! ! There are many special home made dishes on the menu.
