Excellent, freshly prepared food. The menu is in Chinese. It is family owned. Mother cooks in the back. There are just a few items. You get your own cold dishes from a cooler in the front. Yet expect to enjoy one of the best meals you have ever had. I loved the lamb with noodle soup; dry noodles with minced pork; “golden kimchi” with carrot; Taiwanese style kimchi; crushed cucumber salad; and pork liver with ginger. I cannot say enough about how I loved this restaurant.

For me one of the best restaurants in Hualien. Not fancy with unique dishes…but very high quality of the ingredients, super fresh, no additives - plain food, extremely tasty!

Owner & staff are very friendly and helpful.

The lack of design furniture & interior architecture is directly reflected in the price: You won’t find better food in Hualien with...
