梅蘢鎮 — Restaurant in Hualien City

Do not trust the 5 stars. Do not eat here (Rude Owner, check how he/she replies to any criticism). The worst restaurant for this price range I have ever had in Hualien. Those 5 stars out of 2000 don't reflect the truth about how bad the food is in this place. 1) simple salad with a common sesame salad sauce, 2) sauteed mushroom, nothing special, 3) drink (they implied it was included in the set and it wasn't, it had sugar even though I ask no sugar), 4) sashimi, nothing special, 5) roasted shrimp, good (they recommend to eat the head inners it was gross), 6) chicken skewers, just like any night market in Taiwan, 7) matcha fish, flavorless and a soggy skin, 8) king crab, flavorless, 9) miso soup, nothing special, 10) vegetable with mayo and cover with crumbled 可樂果 (a local cheap snack), gross, 11) beef slices and pork ribs (the amount of beef was small and the pork ribs had almost no meat). We almost spent 4000 NTD, we were hungry after the set (all portions were tiny), the service was terrible, there were geckos roaming the dining area. Horrible experience, I regret wasting my money at this pseudo innovative cuisine restaurant. All the pictures are portions for two people. It was incredibly inconvenient to eat certain dishes (king crab) using chopsticks. We had to ask for plate changes and water (bad service). No explanation of the dish, neither...

Superb dining experience with excellent service! They use the freshest ingredients, prepared in natural ways. The sashimi and Alaskan king crab are mouth-watering, juicy and have a natural sweetness. The steak was dynamite, richly textured and cooked perfectly! I was not a fan of the texture for the fish, which was a little bit rough. The BBQ pork ribs are nicely marinated with a tangy plum sauce, but is slightly overcooked in parts. I do love the orange dessert with caramelized sugar crust, lovely way to finish off the meal. 來小認真講一下心得～ 整體來說 我覺得還ok，但是沒有到很驚艷。

基本上海鮮類一律都很新鮮很飽滿（愛吃海鮮的會很愛），味道都鮮美！ 但是可能是過於強調海鮮原味這一部分，所以 前面海鮮拼盤的生蠔跟後面馬祖（？）生蠔都是採 差不多的烹飪模式（一個有加一點點蒜蓉一個沒有） ，我覺得其實可以做出很驚艷的差別，有點可惜～

先講我覺得雷的部分： 前菜麵包配蝦仁莎莎醬的部分，其實我覺得一開始有嚇到我，莎莎醬完全不夠味道很淡，配上烤的很酥脆的麵包，超級不搭🙃 因為莎莎醬基本是很原味的醬（沒有過多調味也就沒有什麼汁液），所以咬起來的衝擊感讓我有點失望🙍‍♀️，這種酥脆感是不是配醬類的比較好咬（我看之前的別人的貼文是醬類的 那種好像比較搭）

過貓配可樂果+美乃滋 我覺得不行，好甜（可樂果甜 美乃滋甜）//但是我朋友她覺得好吃😋

最後牛肉跟豬肋排，牛肉真的很好吃，烤的很好👌 但是豬肋排跟有一到雞肉串一樣，偏甜，我猜是醬汁的關係，前面我不會到需要一直喝飲品，但吃吃到這個豬跟雞的時候，勢必一口肉一口飲料（誇飾），如果調味料的走向可以往清爽類型的會更好～ 因為前面海鮮都是原汁原味 ，鮮美好吃，突然來個蜜汁烤肉，衝擊性有點大🤣

烤魚很好吃！ 另外我猜可能烤螺跟鮑魚不夠？ 所以我們沒有看到這個品項（隔壁桌有）但是我們多了一個螃蟹🦀️（🤫） 螃蟹真的讚，但是還很想吃烤螺😭

甜點焦糖烤柳丁，很好吃，但是如果是1200的價位，我覺得應該可以再有一點點東西花在甜點上🍮

另外可能店員太忙的關係，飲品上的真的很慢，然後我們其實到快吃完才發現原來有提供水（自己拿），這個我們都不知道🤷‍♀️

狗狗很大隻很可愛～ 廚房的味道是真的滿重的，不過待久了就習慣🎈

另外我朋友覺得太吵 ，一開始還好，大聲一點還可以接受，沒想到後面可能小朋友也吵 就變得很像同樂會 😂（隔壁有大團體） 她小小murmur 我還可以😌（老闆有說可以換位置，但我們覺得還可以忍受就算了~但是沒想到他們後來開大砲，不是店家問題）

_ 10/2：給可愛的闆娘 其實我自己重新看我的內文，我覺得沒有很批判啦。 我真的是很按造我「個人」的感受去寫，本來口味就很個人，我跟朋友對各項菜品兩個人也持不同意見，闆娘不要為此難過~ 我貼IG滿多朋友問我好不好吃我都有推薦可以去吃，畢竟有這種以海鮮類為主的無菜單料理花蓮還是大推的。 螃蟹的性價比確實比螺肉高很多很多，螃蟹真的很讚啊!! 螺肉我其實是之前看評論一直很想吃的，畢竟抱著期望來沒吃到也會稍微失望一下，但是螃蟹好吃啊!!...
