Ordered Pork Pho and pork banh mi. Surprisingly pork pho tasted like beef pho. Thought I ordered the wrong item, checked the restaurant, it was the right one, pork pho with pork soup, but they used the same tool to cook pork and beef pho and blanch noodles or food in beef soup… I was speechless… I don’t like the taste of beef, now my meal was ruined. The way the restaurant responded was like this was a very normal way for them, he said it did not matter what kind of pho at this restaurant I ordered, they would all have taste of beef, so I said if some people were not allowed to eat beef, they could not come here to eat then, he said that’s right. Oh well, very very disappointed. Then I tried banh mi, not bad, but not authentic compared to banh mi in Vietnam or south east Asia.
