Well, what a shame. We really wanted to enjoy our experience. We live in Kaohsiung and have been looking for a pool with a nice atmosphere to enjoy on the weekend. We were impressed when we arrived, view is stunning, food was nice. Pool was great.
However the service was quite slow and I had to remind them of our drinks order to get things brought over.
The end of our experience was absolutely awful. Even though we booked, a huge family came and took half of our space without asking, and without seeming to order anything, and nobody seemed to care. Then to top it off when the pool games began the drunkest women I may have ever seen leered over our shoulders yelling. I asked her to move back politely and she became verbally and physically threatening towards myself and my wife, she ended up being dragged away by other drunk family members. My wife said the manager gave an apologetic smile whilst this was happening, but failed to do anything about it. When given the bill there was no acknowledgement of this incident. I brought it up, he even said it was close to being dangerous to which I asked what will you do about it? He said he would take my contact information to get in touch with us, but then didn’t reappear. I was still expected to pay the full amount.

It will take at least 15 minutes after being seated for you to get any water. Any drinks you order will come one at a time. And if you order appetizers, expect them to arrive after your main course.
Perhaps the dreadful experience came down to visiting on a Tuesday, which is of course an off night for a ‘bar’ anyway — but in my humble opinion still does not excuse the multiple gaffes we experienced tonight. The photos on the website make this look a lot more swanky than the reality, which is basically a room beside the rooftop pool with some tables and staff that don’t seem like they belong in the...
Read moreI recently dined at a restaurant located within a luxury hotel, which came as a surprise and may explain the higher prices. While the food was decent, the experience didn’t quite match the premium price point. For example, a 360 NTD beer that I had to pick up myself seemed a bit steep. The restaurant boasts a nice view, but the bar’s interior, once closed off, felt echoey and the neon décor gave it a somewhat tacky, "Star Wars" vibe. My total came to over 3,000 NTD for three drinks and a few fried platters, which felt excessive. Though I’m not one for negative reviews, I believe there’s room for improvement, particularly in...
