The location is convenient to attract tourists. The building is pretty new, and on the platform, it offers a great view of the harbor. Yet, the facility is underutilized. The restroom is one of the best I have used before. Yet, the elevator is one of the worst I had experienced. There is no fan or air conditioning in a ninety degree fahrenheit weather. 話說去年所屬單位舉辦員工旅遊活動，原本第二天的下午要前往新啟用的高雄港旅運中心，走走（擁抱南臺灣最熱情的陽光與夕陽美景），結果因景點耽擱，影響到用晚餐時間，而取消！

這回自由行，第一天抵達高雄後，旋即前往入住飯店辦理chicken與晚餐，所以沒時間前往；至於第二天老早就規劃好去棧貳庫搭文化遊艇（夕陽船班）所以也無法前往；加上旅運中心開放時間為每日早上10：00至下午9：00，只好在第三天退房前，才撥空前往探索…

2023年3月6日啟用的高雄港旅運中心，位於高雄港19、20號碼頭，為「高雄港客運專區」及「亞洲新灣區」計畫的一部分。流線外型，遠看像鯨魚，而銀灰色的建築體，宛如一艘銀白色的巨輪，佇立在港口邊。
