Andrea Pizza — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Location Update Andrea Pizza moved. New address: No. 8, Lane 159, Fuxingyi Road, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung.

We got Margerita and Bosco pizzas. Made by the Italian/French chef trained in Italy and the ingredients from Italy, their pizzas are as authentic as you can get in Kaohsiung. Delicious!!!

I also enjoy staff's hospitality. This place is more suitable for take-outs rather than dine-in. You can order by calling or through facebook. They say it takes about ten minutes to bake one pizza. But if you choose to dine in, just be aware of the limited seating. You might also consider B.Y.O.B.

The pizzeria just opened. I hope they last because I can't really find authentic Italian pizza...

I tried to come here Saturday evening around 6:50pm for dinner. I'd had a long day of work nearby and was craving pizza, which was luckily nearby. The reviews are great, but I unfortunately didn't get to try it. There was a sign up saying they were closed. However, there was an elderly couple inside sitting down to a bowl of homemade noodles--that was odd. I know that shops here sometimes close when they run out of ingredients, but I've had a lot of bad luck with this lately, and it leads to lost time and energy. I don't know how to put it into words. I had Mariana Pizza and it was the best pizza I ever had in my life anywhere in the world.

I cannot speak for others as I do not eat cheese, but the Mariana is truly astounding. Can not believe kaohsiung has better pizza than any place I've eaten at in USA, Europe, even Italy.
