Bassotto Caffè — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Bassotto Caffè might be small, but it definitely pulls a crowd, and for good reason. I stopped by and had one of their pistachio croissants, and wow… it was seriously good. Flaky, buttery, and filled just right, not too sweet, just super satisfying.

The cafe itself has a cozy, neighborhood feel, but it’s busy, the kind of place where people clearly come back again and again. Whether you’re grabbing something to go or sitting down for a slow coffee, it’s a great spot to start your day.

I have tried panini coffee, tiramisu and other sweets. I am italian, I must say the quality is totally like Italy, really authentic flavors.

The ambience and environment all recall Italian cafes in Italy, even the music! I could stay here hours! :)

Particular mention for the tiramisu, really good, and coffee. KIMBO brand comes from Napoli, not the most famous coffee but certainly one of the best ones in Italy.

I visited after seeing some reels on instagram; came with high expectations and I must say that I was not impressed.

We had latte, cafe macchiato, plain crossaint and lasagna bolognese. Coffees were average; for some reason there was a sugary layer on top of the plain crossaint; lasagna bolognese was pricy and substandard.
