Ig: foodie_foxx One of the decent Indian restaurants in town (kaohsiung). Owned by an Indian who can speaks Chinese as well. I am big fan of their starters, mainly their PANI PURI and chicken tikka. I would also rate their biriyani is quite good when compared to other Indian restaurants. Curries taste average which I was not so impressed when compared to restaurants in Tainan. My Gf likes their pani puri so every time we visit kaohsuing we go there to have their Paji puri (the pani is really a delight). Ambience is perfect, no complaints, always surrounded with Hindi songs which gives u a feel like a restaurant back in India. The owner is super nice and very humble. I would definitely give a 5 star if they change a little bit in all their curries. Also please try their naan which is very economical A couple would more or less spend 1000 Ntd for a full course meal which is really worth each penny (you get a started, rice, naan, curry, lassi and if possible a desert) Finally with the drinks, please do give a try of their mango lassi and also the vegetable raita which is very tasty and mouth watering
Bon appetite...

We had tomato soup (complimentary), cheese naan (so much cheese, basically an elevated pizza), a chana masala and a beef or chicken stew as well, white rice, and samosas (did not get to these, sister took home to her husband). Everything was delicious. The service was good. My sister's husband is from India, and she said this was the best Indian restaurant she has dined at. Her husband made a delicious meal for us earlier in the week, so nothing can beat homemade. However, I'd return here if I am ever...
Read moreLocal Indian delicious food. Their portion is very generous and the environment is comfortable. I ordered two kind of curry. First one is Mutton Korma, coconut lamb curry. Strong spices with coconut have lots of layers of flavor. The lamb was also handled well and tasted even better with the cheese Naan.
Second one is the Mutton Saagwala, Spinach and Lamb Curry. Spinach and spiced curry go well together, and the flavor of spinach is not overpowered by the curry, but rather, it creates a different flavor. I’ll recommend to have this curry with the...
