PASADENA — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Make sure no big party before you go.

Was there after Christmas with a couple of my friends years ago. On the same day, there was another big party in the big room. (literally the inner section of the restaurant) They made incredibly loud noise that I can hear them on the second-floor when I went to restroom. The restaurant should inform us before so we can change the date instead of enduring that horrible atmosphere for 3 hours.

The service was awful as well, we got a poker face lady as our waitress, and she didn't arrange another seats away from the noise until we requested for it. Oh, The steak was well done, and no one cared about it even the waitress.

Didn't get any compensation at the register, full charge of food, wine, and service fee.

And I went back to pick up a brand-new membership card which should received same day when we were there. Never been there since then.

I will never ever go to this restaurant again in my life, and I tell my story to my friends and family try this one if someone want to experience the worst French restaurant in the world.

Warning! This place is not cheap. A meal is between 2000 and 3000 NT.

That being said, it was a wonderful meal. Each meal comes with several courses. You can choose about half of them. Ceaser salad was separate, and a bit goofy looking, but quite delicious. It's in the picture with the steak tartare. That was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for more steak, and less....other things.

I'd recommend making a reservation on EZ Table. We prepaid, got 200nt off and 2 free glasses of wine. If you tell them in advanced that it's for a birthday, they may even be able to get you a cake.

I'd also recommend the sous vide pork....

Had a family birthday dinner at Pasadena. The customized meal arrangement by their Chef was amazing, each dish was very well balanced in flavor and taste with great quality ingredients. Combined with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly and discrete service. I highly can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an incredible feast experience. Pasadena should be happy to have such a talented and gifted Chef and team.
