A small shops with seatings either in the store or outside by the roadside. One and only pork with sticky soup with either noodles or rice vermicelli. No sides or veggies. So dont expect to have anything else. Pork is tender and soup is good. But the extra condiments on the table are really quite scary looking. The chilli sauce which I think has some vinegar content is place in a wide mouth plastic contain without a cover and a metal spoon in it. The pepper shaker looks like it has never been washed.. 😐. So even though I wished for some pepper, I...

Delicious Chewy Pork Noodle Soup!

Food: Thick potato starch, pork soup, with your choice of noodles / rice. This is a 40+ year old local eatery that is known for their chewy pork meats. Guests from all over the nation would flock here to queue as it is one of a kind in all of Taiwan. 宜蘭肉羹!

Location: 5-10 minute drive / motorcycle ride from Luo Dong (羅東) Train Station.
