✩整體評鑑✩ ：『CAFÉ SoDavid單品咖啡專賣店(沒販售拿鐵咖啡等調合咖啡)外觀類似日本獨立咖啡屋風格，具備電源插座及wifi，3C設備尚稱便利，甜點以起司蛋糕及英式司康為主，咖啡豆皆自行烘焙，單品咖啡款式相當多元，遍及全球各主要產區，手沖咖啡萃取有日式職人水準，口感香郁層次豐富、風味多元雋永、品味卓越出眾，值得再三推薦』。 會知道Café SoDavid這間咖啡店，是因為不只一家咖啡店老闆曾跟我說過:[你有喝過這家店的咖啡?]，基於好奇心的驅使下，好不容易在google地圖協助下找到這家咖啡店。這間店隱身在巷弄中，沒有顯眼的招牌，只有一塊低調的板子寫著：[Café SoDavid 咖啡 單品手沖]，店的外觀採深色鋼架及落地窗，配合室內類鎢絲LED燈泡，加上綠意盎然的花草盆栽，營造出類似日本都會區獨立咖啡屋的風格。 店主英文名字與我一樣也是稱為David，看見老闆第一印象會有日本職人咖啡師的感覺，他從國立宜蘭大學教官退休後，由於喜歡喝咖啡就到新竹拜師學藝烘煮咖啡，接著就將自家庭院重新裝潢成咖啡店。 從門口一推開厚重古樸的大門進去，就會聽到電台音樂頻道所播放的古典音樂，落入眼底的是的原木桌椅，還有靜靜待角落的鑄鐵壁爐。在冬天溫度低的時候，老闆會為放入原木燃燒，看著爐子的燃燒的火焰，讓整間店的氛圍都溫暖起來。 Café SoDavid 的手沖咖啡，店老闆從挑選生豆、剔除瑕疵豆、到烘培沖煮咖啡，都是一手包辦(台語諺語:校長兼撞鐘)，在嚴謹的日系職人風格下，讓每一杯咖啡都有極致且無以復加的表現，更難得的是店內的輕甜點:英式司康餅（Scone）除了附有黑醋栗果醬，還有日式輕奶油，司康餅直接吃的口感，不僅有濃厚奶油香氣且層次非常明顯，內餡不會過於濕潤或是乾硬，甚至不沾果醬或是奶油都很好吃。 就司康餅的表現，我覺得勝過台北smith&hsu(它的強項在於萊姆檸檬等各式果醬及英國達文郡奶油)，冬天裡在這家店下午喝單品咖啡(沒有販賣拿鐵咖啡喔!)吃司康餅，加上壁爐原木燃燒的溫暖氣氛下，真讓人有樂不思家的感覺。綜合以上的結論，由於店內各式單品咖啡表現極為優異突出，加上店內的輕甜點(司康餅及起士蛋糕)口味細緻香醇綿密紮實。 此外這家店也是羅東地區，甚至可能是整個宜蘭縣，唯一沒賣「拿鐵」或是「卡布奇諾」等調合咖啡，只賣單品手沖咖啡的專業咖啡店，綜合上述經驗與意見，給予超越五顆星的評價，並且列入我的「2019年宜必登」推薦名單。

This cafe is such an awesome gem tucked away in the neighbourhood! The hand-dripped coffee here is executed to perfection. Aside from getting your coffee fix, they also have a wide array of freshly roasted coffee beans that you can grab home.
