Located next to a beautiful lake, this little cottage restaurant has its own authentic pizza oven, set apart in its own kitchen. The interior is tasteful and warm, with an inside-out large tree as the feature in the main area. Private rooms also get a secluded view of the garden.
I visited 4 times for lunch and dinner and the food is always of superb standard. Be it award-winning pizzas or al dente pasta or fresh salads or local seafood and meats, are all delicious at all times.
Its success comes from a passionate team with a sense of ownership of the restaurant. The floor staff are always friendly even on weekends when the restaurant is full; The chefs seem to have a mission to bring the most delicious food on tables and biggest smile on customers.
Not only the pizzas win awards for being tasty and creative, the pasta also score gold. The chefs create new pasta dishes that mix Italian authenticity with Taiwanese local flavor. The hand strip pork with local capers like pickle vegetable (榨菜)sure will bring a smile because of its smart use of ingredients and deliciousness.
A team like this deserves respect. And a restaurant like this...
Read moreBoring food. Salad is sweet. No bread served with food. No Parmesan cheese on the extremely overpriced pasta. Dessert for a kitty cat. I can make better food. Slow service. $900 you kiddin? The pizza has no cheese and is under cooked, soggy on the bottom. Again kitty cat sized. Nice scenery but pizza hut throws a better pie. Learn how to make a decent salad dressing. It's easy. Also add some fresh basil to the pasta dishes and oregano. Gordon Ramsay would go nuts on you charging those prices. I'm still hungry. Good luck with all that. I don't want 'Taiwanese flavors' in a supposed Italian restaurant. That is so dumb. I hate you for charging that much for 'mama hu hu' food that sucks. You have like a 16 yr old in the kitchen making food. Boo. This looks like new...

Kind of awkward for people to stare at me while I eat my food because their food has already been served 20 min ahead of mine. The male manager is a bit strange too. My little girl wanted to have some more cheese for her noodle. He simply replied they don’t have cheese powder, they have real cheese. But he didn’t offer to give my daughter. Played dumb I guess. Then I’ve asked him what is number of our seating area with the nice view? He replied he cannot tell me. Because when people make reservation, they will have to check the booking status of that day. What the heck was that? He certainly needs lots of...
