HIT AND MISS is how I would describe this place. First of all, hanging out here is definitely nice. The place is beautifully done, I almost felt like I was in Europe. Now, the service is spotty. I think the waiters are not all well trained and due to the set up of the place (booths) they simply don't have a good overview. The food, again, hit and miss. Everything sweet that we tried was good, everything salty was really not up to par. Also, they have a strange time division in the menu. Like you can't order salads for lunch??? Also, on their website they claim to have stuff for kids. No such luck when we were there. We had to beg for something of the breakfast menu for our 4 year old. Didn't have any cakes available in the morning which I was interested in purchasing to go along side my coffee and couldn't order coffee first, then order food later despite it just being 11a.m. The waitress insisted I had to spend over 250NT in one go, yet the food were main meals and extravagantly priced and there were no smaller cakes available at that time. Not everyone wants waffles! It wasn't busy, so there was no demand for tables. Ended up going to the Starbucks next door for half of the price. Gets two stars instead of one because I did appreciate the decor and the menu presentation hidden inside a paperback. Only two stars ... I am sorry but food I ordered was awful . I ordered vegetarian lasagna, noodles were not cooked, vegetables were overcooked. Something went wrong with this dish . I won’t try any kind of food in this place anymore . But ... place is cozy and quite perfect for work or rest with the book 📖. If this restaurant would be closer to the place where I live maybe I would consider whether come back or not . Anyway , the juice I ordered was very tasty , bag had to wait for it for ages , haha 😂.
