泰式小吃店 — Restaurant in New Taipei

Summary: Good food, good pad thai. This shop’s pad thai isn’t a “watered down” (less oil, less salt) version that most Southeast Asian restos in Taipei do to adjust to the local palate/preference.

One of my favorite Thai places in Xindian, New Taipei City. It’s a local Thai shop that offers good pad thai, shrimp cakes, and other thai food at a reasonable price.

The place is very unassuming, offering a homey, laid back feel typical of small, local shops.

I always get their Thai Red Milk Tea (40 NTD), pad thai (120 NTD) + a runny egg (which google mistakenly translates as “poached egg”), and shrimp cakes (180 NTD).

One other little thing I love about this shop is how they have the proper dried chili flakes that goes well with Thai food. This is quite difficult to ask for in restaurants as they usually only have chili oil in Taiwan.

No limits and ordered some features there ,and it's packed and cooked slow during weekend evenings so please be patient to wait them as highly recommended. Good food and nice ambience plus we sat outside to feel chilling with all spicy meals! The interior decorations look so Thai in Bangkok and the waiters are friendly Thai men. Very traditional Thai food eatery with very traditional Thai style decoration. The dining environment is good and clean. Not so much choices but every meal is very delicious. If you don't eat so spicy food, you can select fried rice or Thai fried noodles. The price is affordable. A very recommended high C/P...
