We have eaten here several times over the years and this is the first time that I have been served pork and chicken that was inconsistent in its freshness. Growing up in Japan, I know what pork cutlet should taste like. My entire three pieces of pork loin and my daughter’s kid meal chicken karaage was not fresh. The meat tasted like it was brined and not fresh, nearing on rancid. My mother had the same meal and her pork loin tasted great, as did the pork in the kids meals. The service was surprisingly good and food was excellent too. Coming for late lunch on a normal weekday. Less than 5 mins wait but most of the popular items are sold out.
