ABV Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in New Taipei

Most dishes are good, like pizzas, chicken wings, fries, and beef skewers, and indeed this restaurant features its variety in terms of beer selection, whose price range is from 200-290 per item as per our choices. All went well until we were asked to relocate to another table due to dinner reservation by others. OK, so that was different from what I had expected in the first place, so I took one star off for this unexpected request. I understand most restaurants have normally a 2-hour limit for dining duration, but I believe it would made us feel better if it had been emphasized. The feeling was...

A. Good atmosphere for family or group meal/drink. B. Taste is good as what I had in EU. C. Various types of beer … hard to choose … but tried 3 different kinds of beer this time … all good. C. Intern Henry provided good service (kept his eyes on what we need and served with good timing). To have more smile on face will be even better! D. In the summer time with full tables, the temperature inside is a little bit higher. Maybe in the evening … could be better. Recommend to come and enjoy...

Menu far too varied, but the return travel through Europe felt great for someone from there!

If you've been and not tried the shakshuka, go back. If you're going for the first time, order the shakshuka! Awesome flavour, very good price for the walk down memory lane.

Due to the business rice dishes like paella took 30 minutes to arrive, hence the 4 star, but, it'd a Saturday lunch time and the whole place is full!
