Au Cafe — Restaurant in New Taipei

My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one.

This is my second time at AU Cafe.

Food: * The coconut yogurt was truly awesome! They had run out of that the next time I came, so I tried the cheesecake with caramel sauce. Also excellent - rich and full of deep flavor! Drinks: * I had the coco cinnamon latte. Delicious! Next time I want to try one of their fruit coffee drinks. (This time I had already had too much caffeine, so I had the sparkling honey lemon juice. It was refreshing! Prices: * Variety of Menu Options Available: * I would have liked to see more savory food choices. Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: ** English Menu? yes Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: * It was cute, comfy, clean, and pleasant in a neighborhood where you wouldn’t expect to find that kind of establishment. The chair I sat in was one of the most comfortable cafe chairs I’ve ever met! Customer Service: ** Wi-Fi/charging ports available? Wi-fi, yes. No charging ports, but some tables are located by outlets. Hours: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily What was the restroom like? Clean, very spacious, and prettily decorated! Nice cinnamon roll taste but the dough part is a bit rough They should improve the density of dough but the cinnamon powder is super impressive with all of the nuts
