蓋瑞家手作咖啡 — Restaurant in New Taipei

My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about Gary’s House.

This was my second time here. Everything was just as great as the first time!

Food: * I had the risotto chicken with pesto sauce, which had AMAZING flavor! On my second visit, I ordered the same thing, but I also tried a walnut scone from the case on the counter. They warmed it up and brought it with whipped cream decorated with caramel sauce and mixed nuts, and it was delicious! Drinks: * I had the guava fruit tea, which was delicious and refreshing. The second time, I had the fruit smoothie, which involved apple, pineapple, and kiwi. Very tasty! I also got some milk tea (which came with my meal) and later, the manager brought my friend and me cute little cups of free tea latte. The pitcher of water on the counter has pieces of apple and orange in it, so even the water here tastes great. Prices: ** The scones are only 50 NT, but other items cost a little more than I would prefer. However, the quality is excellent! Variety of Menu Options Available: * Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: * (There are LOTS and LOTS of different teas!) English Menu? yes Wi-Fi/Charging Ports Available? Wi-Fi, yes; charging ports, no. There are outlets by some tables, though. Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: * My only complaint is that the table was a little small for both a full meal and my laptop. Other than that, it was great! The chairs are comfortable, and there are several types of them. The cafe is quiet, with soft, nondistracting instrumental background music. Customer Service: * Hours: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. (closed Mondays) What was the Restroom Like? Clean and pleasant. Additional Comments: I LOVE the food and drink here!
